Victoria Jurecka is a filmmaker originally from Los Angeles, California, where she first developed her passion for storytelling and cinema. After spending her school years in Lima, Peru, she moved to Florida at 17 to pursue a career in film.During her first semester at UCF's film school, Victoria was offered the opportunity to produce a feature film—an experience that sparked her love for producing and hands-on filmmaking and has led to producing jobs on several student shorts, features, and independent films.Currently a student in the University of Central Florida’s BFA Film Production program, along with Producing and UPM-ing, she has written and directed her debut short film, The Paradox, set to premiere at UCF’s Fall Showcase.Victoria is currently in post production for her second film, Standstill, and is still producing films, both on and off set. She is on track to graduate in 2026 with dual degrees in Film Production and International and Global Studies..
