I have been a Production Accountant for over 40 years. I have worked on everything from TV to feature films to IMAX projects.The last 7 years I was the Production Accountant for Errol Morris, a prominent Oscar winning documentary filmmaker.I am a CPA and a member of the DGA. I am familiar with most accounting programs, supervised projects large and small. I have prepared budgets for many studios and I have processed tax credits.
As a CPA and Wharton Graduate I have a unique skill set to make sure a project is properly accounted for and adheres to tax and generally accepted accounting procedures.I have worked with many film studios and know how to work with them successfully.I have excellent communication skills with the crew and management. I know all the intricacies of film production. I know what it takes to create a budget and track production costs accurately.
